Currently if you advertise using traditional media, banners or other sites - there is no guarantee that you will return any leads or sales to your site - the cost of acquisition using these methods of advertising is high. With AffiliateSmarts you create a merchant account, take on board your campaign and install a couple of lines of HTML tracking so we know when your Slide-In-Ad/Cost-Per-Click/ Leads/Sales action has taken place and you only pay for results!

AffiliateSmarts operates on a "Network Credit" system - as a merchant we require a deposit for Slide-In-Ad/Cost-Per-Click/ Leads/Sales generated, this deposit is then reduced as  Slide-In-Ad/Cost-Per-Click/ Leads/Sales  are generated and can be topped up at any time in the secure merchant login area. This offers  protection for our affiliate base and allows us to maintain service through out the net in order to promote your campaign.

Affiliate Commission Rates

The Affiliate's commission rate you set is totally up to you, there is no maximum limit but the minimum you must specify is $0.02 per click , $0.10 per lead,$1.00 per sale  Affiliates will obviously be more attracted and willing to join your Affiliate program and promote your website and e-business with a high  'sale', 'lead' or 'click' payout rate. Using  Affiliate Program Management features, Merchants are provided with all the necessary tools to manage their programs payout rates. 

Great effort has gone into making it easy to administer from a merchants point of view, our system tracks leads/sales live and the code is readily available as soon as a campaign is uploaded into your merchant area. This code can then be installed on your confirmation or Thank-you page for the lead or sale to be tracked back to AffiliateSmarts.

Tracking Lead/Sale

AffiliateSmarts uses a combination of  code (which is placed in your shopping cart or on your 'order confirmation'/'thank you' page) and cookies (which are created on the customers pc after they click on one of your advertisements) to track sales. This 'two key' combination ensures that AffiliateSmarts will only track the sales that are sent to you from your affiliate link .

The system has a variety of built in safety features to identify fraudulent commission claims from affiliates.

The system operates a unique IP system where by a visitors is only unique to a AffiliateSmarts merchant once in 24 hours, therefore repetitive clicking will not rack up commission on a PPC campaign.

We operate a very strict policy on fraud control, if an affiliate is found in any way shape or form to be operating against the rules of the system, they will be removed and commission earned will be refunded to the merchants concerned.

Fraud is taken very seriously and many measures are in place to prevent fraud occurring. When the Affiliates page with the Merchants banner is loaded in a browser this is called an impression. When a click though occurs there must be a corresponding impression. In addition we check the click through has actually been submitted IP unique softwear. If a click through is submitted via a non-approved route the attempt will not be logged and the affiliate will not be credited. AffiliateSmarts will pursue repeated fraud attempts. Many additional anti-fraud measures are in place and  affinders will be fined $50 from their account and or account termination.
